The Breathe Swimming Academy is a swimming academy in Gurgaon dedicated to helping swimmers of every age — from first-time kids to competitive athletes — dive into excellence. Our all-weather pool at Sector 50, Gurugram means training continues year-round, rain or shine.

A national medalist with two decades in the water and eight years coaching competitive swimmers, Vishal Kal Kal founded The Breathe Swimming Academy in 2023 to give Gurgaon families a swimming academy built on real technical coaching — not just supervised pool time.

Master in English Literature 3. ⁠National Medalist. 4. ⁠having an experice of two decades as a competitive swimmer. 5. ⁠having an experience of 8 years in competitive swimming coaching. 6. ⁠Appointed as Haryana team’s Head Coach in 2022 Junior and Sub-Junior National ( Odisha, Bhubaneshwar ) 7. Officiated in Khelo India National Games in 2022 ( Panchkula ) 8. ⁠Served as Coach and Head Coach ( 2019-2023 ) in Haryana’s top Academy and have trained more than 100+ over there who have won more than 1800+ medals in Gurgaon open District and Haryana State, CBSE Nationals, IBSSO National Championships including a national record in Junior National in 2022 and my tainees lifted many Individual Championship in those 4 years at every level.

Across four years leading Haryana's top academy, he trained 100+ swimmers to more than 1,800 medals at Gurgaon District and Haryana State championships, CBSE Nationals and IBSSO National Championships — including a Junior National record in 2022 and multiple Individual Championship titles at every level.

Our Story

The Breathe Swimming Academy opened its doors in 2023 at DPS International School HS on Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 50 — and quickly became one of the most recommended places for swimming classes in Gurgaon. We started with a simple observation: most families near Gurgaon could find a pool easily enough, but far fewer could find a swimming coach in Gurgaon who taught proper stroke mechanics, breathing and water safety as a structured syllabus rather than as casual supervision.

Today the academy trains children and adults across four daily batches — from complete beginners who have never put their face in the water, through to competitive squad swimmers preparing for district, state and national meets. Every batch is deliberately kept small, every session is led by a certified coach, and every swimmer is tracked against clear stroke-by-stroke milestones so parents can see real progress rather than guess at it.

Our Vision

To make swimming a life skill that every child in Gurgaon has access to — not a luxury reserved for a few — and to build a pipeline of confident, technically sound swimmers who go on to represent Haryana and India. We want a family searching for a swimming academy near Gurgaon to find a place that takes both a nervous five-year-old and a national aspirant equally seriously.

Our mission is to give every swimmer measurable stroke progression, genuine water confidence and a lifelong habit of fitness — built on the same standard our founder holds himself to: the D3 formula of Discipline, Dedication and Determination.
