Life at the pool, in pictures

These photographs are from our own pool at DPS International School HS, Sector 50, Gurugram, and from the meets our swimmers travel to. You will find ordinary training sessions here as well as the highlights — beginners working through kick drills with a board, squad swimmers off the blocks at the start of a race, coaches on the deck mid-correction, and the medal ceremonies that follow a season of early mornings. We keep the everyday shots in deliberately, because they show what a swimming academy in Gurgaon actually looks like on a normal Tuesday rather than only on prize day.
